Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Limited (DCME) have worked closely with Carbon Numbers for nearly 10 years now in a partnership driven by the joint belief that by reducing our carbon footprint we can realise savings that can be recycled into further energy saving initiatives. The key learnings are that ‘quick wins’ matter and can make a big difference. Also that in order to make the right decisions you need the available data to be put into a logical format in order to target specific projects and measure the before and after to get a true result.
Carbon Numbers designed and installed an LED lighting programme throughout 5 King William Street that was delivered efficiently with minimal business disruption to the occupants of the building and provided savings in excess of 92,121 kWh per year.
Through the life of our partnership we have reduced energy by over 50% from the original baseline and continue to seek innovative ways to reduce energy.
